Our Story
This project was started in 2021 by two Fulbright Scholars who were working as a Researcher and English Teaching Assistant in Madrid. Through conversations with students and fellow teachers, they realized that many students smoked but were not aware of the health effects of smoking. This realization energized them to create an hour-long bilingual presentation on the health effects of smoking. Since the start of this project, the lesson has been presented to 600 students across seven high schools (including one in Bolivia).
The team has included auxiliares de conversacion, teachers, and Fulbright Scholars across Spain dedicated to helping students make informed choices regarding their health.
